Is $500 a good deal for an new Pixel XL?

Hey guys. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm being offered $500 for my still sealed, brand new black Pixel XL 128gb. It would be an awesome backup to my note 8, but I'm deciding on whether or not to take this offer. It was sent to me as a replacement for my 6P. Would you sell it for that, hold out for more, or keep it for yourself as a quality backup? Just feeling it out, thanks

Definitely! After I have watched the event, the pixel 2 xl just looks ugly and doesn't have a lot of benefits over the older pixel, at least not enough to pay 300$+.

Yes, I just bought an XL 128GB from Verizon last night for $600.00.

I will gladly pay a premium on a new unit over an used one. Used, I most likely don't have any idea what sort of mileage was put on it. All batteries degrade over time, but how quickly that happens depends on the user. The Pixel has been on the market for a year now, so you might be getting one that's still got that new phone smell, or the one that's been ridden hard and put up wet.
