Is Amazon exchanging Note 7 Accessories for free?

I emailed Amazon regarding my Spigen Clear case. They responded with an extremely polite email and a return label and authorization. Great service. I wouldn't have even minded if they had said no, because the case was cheap. But they didn't, so bonus!

Amazon agreed to allow a return on my Note 7 case, but looks like the estimated refund is only 80%....have to see how it settles out.

Yes they are... I got my cases a week before I got my pre order and they took them back yesterday, You will only have to pay a restocking fee.

I ordered 2 cases prior to receiving the phone on its initial street date. I just talked with an Amazon rep and they were very good about it but requested the items back. I assume the merchants who sold the units maybe want to return them for credit to their buyers.

I was refunded for both of my cases and they didn't even ask for the cases back. I just emailed them and they credited my account within 2 days.

Update. I asked Amazon if I really had to return it since it's worthless and they said don't bother switched to full refund

As luck would have it, I bought 2 Spigen cases from Amazon ($10 each). I may just keep them as souvenirs. :D
I got in touch with Spigen. They Told me to keep the case for the Note 7 and they sent me a New case for my New Phone Pixel XL for equal or below the price of my Neo-Hybrid case.

I was able to return a case to Amazon and received a full refund.also sent case back to seller on real and got a refund back.

They refunded my restocking fees. How are they going to restock an item that is no longer being sold?
