Is anyone else having a hard time using the swipe gesture for screenshots?

Wow, I must have been using my Blackberry then, as I don't remember that limitation.

Same. I was BB and Motorola before the S2, my first Samsung...and they've had me by the jugular ever since.

Well, I was with BlackBerry from 2007 until 2017 when I finally switched from the Z10 to the Galaxy S8. However, I had Android around me with my oldest son's S2 in 2012 (with Gingerbread) and our first Kindle Fire tablet in 2012 (with forked Gingerbread initially). So I missed the earliest developments.

I just use the edge panel. In the tasks edge panel you can edit it to have screen shot and screen record. So much easier then doing the push power button and volume up at the same time... Simple one handed.

That's how I have my phones setup as well works well for me

On my s22 ultra I use NavStar in Goodlock and add a screenshot button on the navigation bar . I never hide my navigation bar so it's always on the screen for quick access

i just go from the status bar and hit the button of screenshot been doing that forever much more easy for me
