Is anyone else having an AKG earbud issue?

I recently had the Galaxy s8 plus that came with the AKG earbuds and when ever I tried to put music on a Instagram post or snapchat video the music would not record if I had the earbuds in. The results were all the background noise everything outside the earbuds. It was super annoying I tried different settings nothing worked. I just upgraded to the Galaxy a9 plus guess what same annoying issue. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO FIX?

It's not a fix because it's not broken... that's how it's supposed to work. When you plug in your headset, the in-line microphone takes over. Your headphones have a microphone in them. And only the audio that microphone picks up will be what's recorded for your video. If you play music on your phone and it plays through your earphones, the microphone in them doesn't pick that audio up unless you play it loudly through a different set of speakers or through the phone's speakers.
