Is anyone having issues with the Camera focusing when they first turn on the camera app?

Not just the stock camera app, but using the camera on Snapchat and FB messenger camera app too. Anyone notice this issue?

It's a bit hard to describe. What do essentially do is I turn on the camera app with the camera pointing at my feet and the camera viewfinder is blurry and unfocused. It does not seem to focus until I point the camera at something else and let it sit for 5-10 seconds and the camera adjusts. Sometimes it doesn't even focus and stays blurry. I have to close and reopen the app. You can actually heard and see the variable aperture adjust. My question is why is it not focusing fast enough?

It sounds like a defective camera module. It's covered under the warranty. (If you're in the US, and the phone is less than 2 weeks old, the carrier should replace the phone with a new one, if you bought it from the carrier. If it's older, since your phone isn't new, you get a refurb.)

Dangit, unfortunately I got it directly from Samsung. Guess I have to go through their customer support.
