Is "App Backup and Restore" Legit?

I just found this in the app store and I want to see if anyone here has used it and can confirm it is safe and legit. I want to install this on an old device that contains apps that I paid for, but has been removed from the Play Store.

Ultimately, I'd like to move them to my new device and use them there. They still currently work on my old device.

I am not sure that will be able to allow device changes. I have run into that issue with other data restoration apps.

I would agree with you regarding data restoration. However, this developer appears to make it a point in the description to state that the app does not restore data, only the basic apk files themselves.

Sorry, somehow I got under the impression you wanted to transfer say a game to your new device and didn't want to lose your progress.
