Android Central Question

1- If it is available how can i Activate it? I have read that I need to install the Google FI but i cannot find it in my Store

2- If esim is Activated can i still use the physical Sim for another number? Can both numbers be active

Are you trying to use the phone on Google Fi? I believe that's the only service for which it works. The Fi app may be pre-installed on the phone.

You can use the physical SIM for a different number but on the Pixel 3 they can't be active simultaneously.

Hi

Thanks for the reply . As a matter of fact FI is not available in my Google play.

Any idea how can I get it?

I believe the Fi app is preinstalled on the Pixel devices. What region are you in?

could this be a "Verizon" Google Pixel 3? back when these first came out the ones sold by or made for Verizon had the eSIM disabled.

The P3 comes with an eSIM (it's part of the motherboard, it's not something you add). The carrier "activates" it - if the carrier supports eSIMs - some do, some don't. (And Google Fi is, as far as I know, the only MVNO that does.)

To switch to it:
  1. Open your phone's Settings Settings app.
  2. Tap Network & Internet.
  3. Tap Mobile Network.
  4. Tap Advanced.
  5. Choose the name of the carrier you'd like to use.
  6. Tap Switch.
