the red was what I really wanted and at the last minute I changed my mind because it was just not the red I thought it was. my wife got the saphirre blue and it's beautiful cause blue is her favorite color and believe it or not I got the Brilliant Black and I don't regret it at all I love black and it even looks like a dark green tint to it sometimes so everyone it's your choice and with this kind of money you deserve to get what color u want.

You know, their black shade is so beautiful. And so is the blue. Don't think you made the wrong choice there! Glad you're enjoying it!

I have used Brilliant Black, Sapphire Blue but loving my Solar Red the most.

Blue was an amazing colour though i did not find the color shifting as in Red.

Black is the most decent device and looks seemless where the screen meets the metal.

I'm generally happy with the red, but the minor gripe is that even in a clear case, the color gets lightened by a shade, so it really skews more pink-ish. I've tried multiple cases and it's the same. I'm keeping it because it's still my favorite of the options, and I'm secure in my manhood, hahaha. I wish the red was a little darker and the sapphire blue was a little lighter, though.

Exactly my thoughts. I have 3 clear cases and each one lightens the red shade. Wish it was not slippery and I would just use it without the case.

I'm going to take a risk and buy a full body clear skin for my Solar Red. At least I'll be covered for scratches, but not drops. Best of all, the clear skins should not impact any of the attributes of the Solar Red colour.

Go for it, i have the transparent skinomi skin on my solar red... That makes the phone non slippery without losing its charm.... The skin is barely visible...

That's interesting. How much less slippery would you say the skin makes it? Will it move on its own from a table/chair etc? Does it make comfortable to hold? Increase confidence it won't slip out of your hands?

Without anything, U11 seems to be more slippery on the sides rather than back, that makes the chances higher of slipping from hands. Skinomi skin covers it on the sides so you are confident, gives you a better grip and it will not slip down from your hands. From the desk/sofa... no... It won't move at all. But i removed the screen skin and applied skinomi matte skin on it.. For some reason i like the matte screen protectors always...

Ok I now have both the red and blue in hand. For me I think I made the right decision in ordering the blue. Both are absolutely gorgeous and I love the color shift on the red but it not being more of a brilliant red is what turned me off. It's more of a watermelon red/pink. The blue is more my style but doesn't have as much color shift as the red. It does shift a little from the blue to a purple but nothing like the red when it shifts to gold. I have no idea why some people say it shifts to yellow the one I have changes to almost a pure gold look. Anyway I'm going to keep the blue and send the red back.

I have generated the return request and am now wondering if i should just buy the blue or wait for it to be available in 128 gb and on Amazon. Definitely buying only from Amazon. Anybody knows if that is expected to happen?
