Is foxfi Wi-Fi working right on LG G3

I just updated to a LG G3 phone from adroid 4. I installed foxfi onto it and just like on the old phone it opened first the phone's WiFi foxfihen foxfi Wi-Fi. But on this phone the phone shows that my tablet is hooked up on the phone's wifi? On the droid 4 the phone never showed anything being hooked up, just on the foxfi app it showed it was hooked up. I'm I doing some thing wrong? Or is this correct?

Yes it should show it being hooked up

Yes it does and it works. I have the Verizon unlimited plan and I'm not sure if they will know it in using it or not. I don't won't to loss this plan. On the old droid4 it only showed up on the foxfi Wi-Fi only. The phone showed WiFi was on but not set up to use. Is this new set up working like it should? Thanks for your help..
