Hi thracian,

. I was enjoying a nice cup of tea when I wrote that.
So because you do not see the problem, I try once again to break it down:
Approximately 80% of all searches go through Google. It is a fact. Here, I looked it up for you:
Source: Google Search Statistics - Internet Live Stats
This is a solid fact, reality. There is no arguing about that. Whether people "have a choice" or not, whether there are other service or not does not change this fact. Do we agree on that?
And now here is the problem: Just as an example, imagine you are one out of this "crap ton" of services that offers something similar to Google Maps. Do you see how you are on a disadvantage here, since Google will always push Google Maps to anyone who is looking up a location? And as the company offering this service, you can not change the reality that everyone uses Google as a search engine.
This is true for all kind of possible services and companies. A dependency on Google is forced upon you.
Yes, but I can still talk to you, right? Since you contributed to this discussion.Lol what? Who said I was talking to you, did you see quote tags there anywhere?
I am not stressed out, thank you for your concernTake a stress pill there bud, I was generalizing.
And here is the problem and reason why I also partly responded to you (while obviously also still talking to A895). You hop in, generalize and by that you ignore already stated arguments and facts.I was generalizing.
