When I try to help my wife with her Intercept I keep mumbling that it has a mighty small screen - and those tiny icons...

I don't think I could go back to a smaller screen.

So you're saying that size matters more to you than to her? Interesting.

Since owning the Evo for about 5 months now, I can't think of a single moment where I thought to myself that it was too big. After using it this long I can honestly say that it is perfect.

For those of you asking for a 5" screen, I think that would be a little too large for me. I don't see a screen that size fitting in the average pocket quite as easily... Let's keep two categories for Android: The 4.3" smartphone, and the 7"+ tablets.... sounds like a wining combination to me.

I picked 4.3" as the best size, but not so much because of viewing, as for typing. In terms of reading what's on the screen, and carrying the phone in my pocket, I'd be fine with something around 3.7". But for typing the bigger screen is worth it, to me.

I will agree with you. For typing, the bigger screen is definitely better. I also love multimedia on the big screen. Larger screens are so much more fun.

If anything it seems small after using my iPad, but I like the EVO 4G size for when I need portability first.

I second that. When it came to choose between Epic vs Evo, the tilt factor was the screen size. It's just perfect for what I use it aside from phone calling.

After playing with an Epic and getting stuck working on my wife's Hero, there is no way I would ever go back to anything smaller. HTC definitely nailed it making the most efficient use of the phone. The size is perfect.
