Is it a keeper?

1st drop yest and my heart was in my mouth..my friend carried me and phone was in the back pocket...and it fell from good 4 feet I guess...heard loud thud noise...luckily had the original transparent cover from Samsung on it...checked the phone...no scratch or dent..was scared of glass cracking ...phone was just 1 day old
Same happened to me thank God no damage.

After a few days with my 10+ now and it's definitely a keeper. The concerns of the camera being in the middle are gone - I realize how much I prefer the symmetry and it just seems a lot more natural to me, as well as the notification icons not being indented from the right. I like the FPS even if it is slower (price you pay for ultrasonic?) but like others have said, some haptic feedback would help a lot. Every time a new Note comes out, I feel like I say that it feels nicer in my hand than the last one, and I will say the same about this. I like the width and the height. Even though the dimensions are almost the same as the 9, it just feels nicer to grip and hold. Also, my mind must be playing tricks on me because it feels lighter than my 9, but the specs show that it really isn't?

Very happy so far with this phone thus far. Hope it continues! :)

I'm contemplating returning my Note 10+. Nothing wrong with it, nothing that I'm disliking about it too much (although I am noticing a signal difference from the Pixel 3 - no signal on Note 10+ in areas where I typically get some sort of signal on Pixel 3). Note 10+ is a powerhouse with a beautiful screen, really neat features and good camera. It's just that for my typical usage it does nothing above and beyond what my Pixel 3 does. Nothing about it blows me away, or I find myself thinking "man I can't live without this". I personally rely on Google Assistant and voice to text a lot and the Pixel handles that much better in my experience. Plus the Pixel camera just can't be beat in my opinion ... No doubt the Note 10+ camera is really good, but I cannot say it's better than the Pixel 3 camera in the typical scenarios I find myself shooting pics in. The $600 trade in is great and all, but I cannot justify trading in my fully paid off Pixel 3 for a Note 10+ at this moment. I may regret it in the future and my mind is not officially made up yet, but the more I work the Note 10+ into my daily life/routine the more I'm realizing that it may not be for me.

Good luck with your decision. The Note isn't for everyone and the Pixel 3 is a very good phone. I've been a Note user for 8 years. I see people question if it's for them or not and it usually means that it's not. There are too many good phones out there to use something that's not what you want.

I certainly hope it is a keeper as I just dropped 1298. 00 Euro to get the 5G/512gb version (aura glow)
Price hurts a little but only version available here in Ireland is the 4G and that was 1119.00 and I just know I would have regretted not getting the 5G since I can have it free included in my current plan.
Anyways, it leaves me with a very discounted upgrade option through my provider to use on the S11 for my partner as a nice present next year in February

With some of the downfalls the note has it's very hard to return it! First device I have owned that does what I want it to do 99% of the time. Hopefully the FPS gets an update and the camera is good enough for what I use it for.

Loving this new have held computer. I will keep it for 2 years and watch the development of Gixel, Huaweiand other devices. If they ever get pens, I will try them out again as well.
soooo much functionality in the Samsung Note series that if they stop making the note, I will seal a phone half its size and but a Note tablet to supplement the loss.

I was holidaying in singapore and saw many people with Note 10 plus and few couples who both had Note 10 plus with them...for a change saw more people with samsung phones than iphone...
The cameras are superb...wide angle camera is great and it's more wide than my Mate 20 pro....

Huawei is launching a new 7.2 inch with pen support soon, pen is separate though but I could live with that if I just had 2 or 3 pens, home, office, pocket....

The new device is not going to be android since they are on the **** list with the us government.

as of right now, less than 24 hours in, unless I find something drastically wrong, this gorgeous hunk of chips and glass is mine, all mine... heh heh heh

what a freakin work of art 10+ ftw

Just returned mine note 10. Battery was Soo bad. But nice phone, but I'll stick with apple for a while now

Welcome to the "freakin' work of art" world

thank you! it's like the Note 7 all over again, but with what appears to be a better battery (at least for me) and some other really great appointments. haven't found it all yet, but getting to know it and configure it is pure joy.

what a difference from my Note 8. I always felt like they just through it together to have something to offer after the Note 7. this though, the 10+, is pure magic for me.
