Is it just me, or are colors washed out?

I've always noticed that colors seem to be a bit washed out on this device. Most notably are Purple colors. When I fire up Clash of Clans, or other games.... The purples seem to be a bit pale, or more of a Flat color, versus the bright vibrant colors I see on other devices. There doesn't seem to be any adjustments to be made (other than screen brightness). Anybody else notice this on the Tab 4 series? Or do I perhaps have a defective unit?

Ive noticed it and i know why. The reason the colors seem washed out is because the tablet has a lcd screen rather than the most common screen type used by samsung which is the SUPER AMOLED screen which has very deep and vibrant colors. LCD screens are known for washed out colors. Your tablet is not defective it is just because it has a lcd screen. And a lowgrade one in my opinion.
