Is it just me or has Google stopped developing more features for Google Now?

Google Now was truly innovative when it was released a couple years ago. I still use it daily, but I'm starting to wish it did more. For example, over the last few days we had several bouts of heavy rain. I was thinking how cool it would be if a notification showed up in my task bar saying "Rain expected within the next ___ minutes." Then when I went to Google Now a card with a current radar view would pop up. That would've been great. Can we expect new features come to Google Now anytime soon?

It's just you.

They recently added a new card for Flight Price Tracking.

I'm just sick of looking at the mountains :-)

They might be evaluating feedback and such. Maybe also waiting for L to release to see how well things work.

Google Now does get added functionality from time to time, but most of the updates are server-side target than being packaged in app updates with a changelog.

Search for flights, I'd guess. Now adapts to your search patterns, this would probably be the same

I see. So If I search "flights from KCI to PHX" in Google rather than use Orbitz, etc it would come up with price deals for that flight?

Give it a shot! But I think what might happen is that after you search for that.... Now might throw up a card with some pricing info at some point. Not sure... haven't seen it in action yet.

I'm waiting for Google Now to integrate with Nest.

It'll tell nest to cool/warm up my home when I leave from work and start going home.
