Is it me, or is Facebook app strange on this tablet?

I've had this tablet now since march 6, '12.

I'm upgraded to ICS, manually, using odin and the stock rom.

The Facebook app displays as if this was a 10.1 screen, with the right side cut off.
Logging in to Facebook using the browser works fine.
Also, the Facebook app show the "like" count twice, in two different font sizes.

Anyone else notice something like this? I've deleted and reinstalled, with the same results.
I'm thinking I'll just delete and wait for a month or so.

Any ideas?

The facebook app does not work for me. I deleted it and only use the browser. It is like you said. I also had trouble with commenting.

So I went back to the ~Play Store~ again, and this time I read the comments.
People REALLY don't like this app on their tablets.

I wonder why the different performance on the tablet as compared to the galaxy S2 Epic 4g Touch (say that 3 times fast) when both are running the same version of Android.

And then today, I saw this story (on tech crunch, from a front page link here)

Same problem with the faceboook app, it doesn't resize pictures to fit screen on portrait orientation, when on landscape the pictures are okay but text won't fit to width. Overall the faceboook experience on the app is not good

Yes, it's ridiculous how fb looks on tablets, i can't believe they aren't embarrassed enough to have fixed it or at least made a tablet version.

There's a paid app called facedroid that is made for tablets. I don't remember how much it cost & it's ridiculous they don't have a trial version but at the time that i got it it seemed like the only option for a fb app that was any good on the tablet &I figured I could return it within 15 minutes if didn't like it. The pictures aren't cut off & imo it's laid out better.
I've wondering how friend caster looks but i didn't think of that till after i bought facedroid so i haven't tried it.

I just saw your comments and I was wondering if you know something new about this topic- resize the pictures on facebook for tablets. Is there any configuration to be done on the Samsung tablet 10.1 to downsize the pictures on fb?
Thanks

Since I updated to jelly bean there is no problem with Facebook application.

I urge you to update to jelly bean if not already done so.
