Is it possible that the S7 can get a better battery life with an update?

My S7 just doesn't suit my needs, everybody said in reviews that it had a bright display and punchy colors but i don't feel them and also could it be possible to get faster animations? The G5 is more responsive and it's supposed to be better.

You'd surely find supporters for both devices. Certainly, both are devices of the highest quality.
