Android Central Question

Hi,
I just have an idea i need to test and implement for which i want to know that it is possible to turn an android phone forcefully to Silent mode if a person carrying an android phone passes near by a Sensor.
The sensor will detect a phone and turn it into a Silent Mode.

Would you like me to move this to our Developers forums?

You don't even need a whole app to do it. Tasker can do it, and IFTTT probably can too (although I've never tried it). Just set all 4 sound channels to 0 when whatever sensor is detected.

If you mean an app driven by a sensor on your phone making my phone silent, not unless I'm also running your app on my phone.

I’ll move it, although I think that @Rukbat has already answered your question.
