Is it possible to switch on some of the gestures to turn on the phone?

I find I keep activating the phone accidently by swiping. I'd like to just use the double tap. Is that possible?. Maybe there's an app to override it?

Unfortunately you cannot. Only the voice dialing gesture can be turned off separately.
