I have it downloaded on my note 8 from the galaxy app store. Make sure you download from there. Haven't had any issues

Unknown sources just means from outside the play store and not vetted by Google. It's possible to get a virus, but shouldn't happen if you rely on safe sources. Getting the game direct from it's developer would be a safe source.

In this instance it doesn't matter anyway, it's in the Galaxy App store, which doesn't require unknown sources to be enabled.
