Is it safe to factory reset with a tweaked build.prop?

I am planning wiping my NVIDIA Shield K1 tablet and I have tweaked the build.prop and don't know if it's safe to factory reset. If it's not, can someone please provide me with a stock build.prop for the NVIDIA Shield K1 tablet. I don't know if the build.prop changes with system updates so I'll give the specs.
-Android Version: 7.0
-Shield tablet software version: 5.1(24.29.404.127)
-Kernel version: 3.10.96
