Hi everyone im new to the forums and recently got my note 3 last week on Thursday. I have the Tmobile version.

An issue that I am having is that my battery dies qquicky. I don't know if this has something to do when I first got the phone because I didnt charge it once I had got the phone and once I did get the phone I factory reseted it so that I could go through the initial setup (you know the menus that tell you to put your language, wifi, gmail etc.)

I have everything turned off I have my brightness always set to 0 I don't use auto brightness. I only increase the brightness when im outside in the sun. I have auto syncing completley turned off I only have notifications from apps such as Facebook, instagram and other apps.

I Don't have anything running in the background nor do I have any wakelocks happening.

I also have power saving mode on, the only thing thats enabled is the lower cpu option.

When i got home i decided to drain the battery to where the phone turned itself off. I then pluged it in to charge and i turn the phone on while it was charging and left it there untouched until it fully charged.

Once it was done i unpluged it and started using it. I updated 3 apps, i went on facebook and instagram for a quick bit and used chrome for about 10 or 15 mins and my device is at 95%, and has been on for 37 mins with 32 mins of on screen time. I dont thinks that normal.

On saturday i was using chrome starting around 11 am and it lasted 8 hours with 5 and half hours of on screen time is that normal?

so we will say every 5% = 30 mins. 10% gets you 1 hour of screen time.Comes out to 10 hours of screen time.. That doesn't sound good? lol

Well i thought maybe it would last a bit longer cuz i thought the battery was decreasing quickly. Is this how your device battery is?

Well im coming from an LG motion which had a 1700 mah battery and tge phone had an Android OS issue. It was always the highest thing that was using up the battery, and it would never last me.

I expected the note 3's 3200 mah battery to not decrease that quickly but im probably so used to the Motions battery i just assume that this isnt normal.

But of course this phone has higher specs than the motion and im probably juss being picky about the battery lol.

Then again I never really tested my battery but it a lot better than the S4. I was playing Dungeon Hunter 4 for six hours and still had 15% battery left but I never use max brightness.

Normal.
