Is it the new 128gb sd card or Kit Kat?

I purchased a new 128gb microsd card. Formatted it in my S5 then tried to transfer my files over from my 64 gb microsd card. Everything seem to transfer just fine so I thought. After about 30 minutes I go to play some music and the files are gone. I look for some other files and the are gone as well. So I try it again same thing happens. I try to format the card on my android tablet non kit kat and on the pc. The files still disappeared.

Has anyone else had this problem or have suggestions?

Is your new 128gb card a good one (sandisk or samsung, etc, etc) or did you make the mistake of buying a generic $15 card on ebay like I did? The card worked for about 3 hours before it failed and my phone couldn't read it, even after reformatting. Had to pony up the cash for a SanDisk card but haven't had any problems with it at all.

It is a sandisk. I did purchase from ebay but it was more than $15

I hope its a decent card, I just ordered the 128gb SanDisc micro and it wont ship until 10/9, $110
