Just buy the 3g version of the Gear s2 classic. Smaller and can answer calls. The frontier will get ruined on your wrist, it's going to hit on everything being that big on you. It looks ok but it will be clumsy.

Yes I agree with those saying gear s2 classic. Can switch out bands with any 22mm band, looks nice, not as big and does most all what you're looking for. They have them at Best Buy still if you want to compare for yourself.

One of my friends has a 44mm michael kors watch. Almost as big as the frontier.

I like invictus watches too.

it fulfills all your criteria except ability to answer a phone call, unless you have a connected bluetooth headset

As for answering phone calls does it not show who is calling?

I have a small wrist & I used to worry about this when I got the gear fit, then the gear s, s2, & s3 but I found that it was not as bad as I thought or I just didn't care because I am not giving the watch up. I have been wearing the s3 for 2 days & I love it. I have not had any problems with it bumping anything but I also never had a problem with the other watches either.

As for answering phone calls does it not show who is calling?

It always shows the phone number but showing the name depends on features from the phone.

it basically shows the same thing as your phone would show. if it's a private number, it will say private. otherwise the number will show up. if you have the number saved under a contact, the name will appear on the screen. you have two options you choose by swiping left or right, dismiss (hang up) or pick up (through the phone if it is only the bluetooth model)

It comes down to what you prefer, but IMHO, it is too big. I don't know how you took the picture but a wide angle lens will make the watch look bigger in the picture than it does in real life. If your wrist is more than 7 inch in circumference, it might be OK.

My opinion: not too big. I say go for it. So people like big watches. I do not really consider it a gender thing or even a size of the wrist thing. I think of a watch (even a smartwatch) as a piece of jewelry that has added utility. Personally, I like a big watch. I think it looks good on me and I can easily glance at the information. I see women wearing big bracelets and bangles all the time, so if you think it looks good on you (and based on the picture, I think it looks just fine) than I say "get er done".
