Is it worth it to upgrade from S10e to S10 just for telephoto lense ?

Is that telephoto lense any good ?
I got S10e. I enjoy straight flat screen of my phone but I am wondering about this 2x optical zoom. How good is it compared to digital zoom ? I am still within return period for S10e and I can upgrade to S10 without spending any extra money.

I have the s10. One of things i see as a huge pro of the s10e is that you can use a case with a protective front or you can install a tempered glass front. The FPS on the s10 complicates things.

I like the s10 camera..... But then again i thought the s7 camera was good.

S10e camera is exactly the same except for 2x optical zoom. I am wondering if that optical zoom is any good

Does the e have the .5 zoom , for the wider shots. I like that feature.

Doesnt the e also have a different screen?

The Optical Zoom doesn't buy you much but for the same price it's not a bad jump if you feel the front FPS isn't a negative.

Try asking yourself how often you even utilize the zoom function of your camera.

I've yet to find myself in a scenario where I feel like I'd need to zoom in more, so this really is a question for you rather than us.

I do on occasion but agree that it's not critical.

One more thing: as an S10e owner, I'd "upgrade" given the chance. The smaller size just isn't as beneficial as you'd hope for unless you just happen to have really small hands. I don't, but I still find myself needing tks stretch a finger or get an assist from other hand.

If you use extended batteries, for sure get the S10e. Otherwise, might as well get the standard.
