I would say go buy it.
You getting the absolute latest and greatest specs. Plus, the quickest software updates right from Google.
Its a great device with very 'unique' colour options that always make me laugh when i say them.

It depends. How old is your phone? If it lesser than 2 years old, you can hold back on the Pixel for now, as there arent any VAST improvements yet. Perhaps next year, the different in power and performance would be more stark.

i have a nexus5, i don't think i would buy a pixel (moneywise), but you guys makes it looks old now

I think its a gimmick since that, along with the glass back, makes it more fragile. Smartphones are prone to be dropped sometime and using a case determines it´s design was not properly developed. My opinion.

Depends on how careful you are. Metal is very slippery. I find glass to be less slippery but I don't own an S7 Edge so I'm not going to vouch for its slipperiness or lack of it.

It looks amazing...until you realize there isn't really a comfortable way to hold the phone without accidentally tapping the edge.
