Is Jelly Bean available on RAZR Maxx if alltel is your carrier?

I just got a Droid Razr Maxx and was really hoping i could jump to Jelly Bean. However when i check system update it tells my i am up to date with 4.04 ICS. Anyone know of a way to manually download it and if so, is it safe to do so if Alltel is your carrier?

As of now, 4.0.4 ICS is the most up to date official software for the Alltel Razr Maxx. Not sure if Alltel is planning on sending out an official update. I wouldn't count on it. However, search for the "Got ROMs? Flashable ZIPs for your Alltel MAXX!" thread, and you can learn how to root your phone and install custom ROMs based off the Jelly Bean update. They are very willing to help in that forum.
