Is Kies Air still part of Samsung pc software family?

Hi there, I used to have a Galaxy s3 which worked well with Kies Air on my pc to send and receive texts. Now I have a Galaxy s5. Kies Air was transferred from s3 to s5.
The problem is that although I receive texts on my pc but cannot send. So everything works well except that I no longer able to send texts from my pc.
Tried to find Kies Air on Samsung website to re-install it but couldn't find it. Any idea how can I fix the problem? Thanks.

I think that might have been replaced with SideSync

Download from Samsung. Just do a Google search for Samsung Kies.

May I ask for what purposes you guys use Kies? If you want to backup data, I guess manually copying the data from the phone plugged in as an USB is enough?

Try AirDroid. It's available on the Google Play Store, and it's compatible with the S5.
