Is Marketplace same on Eris and Droid?

I feel like there are alot of apps that I read about online and at various sites that I can never find. Is this because Eris is running 1.5? Are there two different marketplaces' or is their just more seen on the droid.

They look TOTALLY different! However for the most part they do offer the same apps. There are some apps that came out for only 1.6 and higher that you will find on the Droid that you wont find on the Eris. But those are few and far between. They offer basially the same marketplace

the Droid as a newer version of the marketplace this version of marketplace has been out for a few months.

The market places are the same, app availability depends on what version of Android you're running. For instance Address Book from Asurion Mobile is only available for 1.6 and up.
