Is Marshmallow a battery hog?

Since updating my Moto G Rev 2 it seems like the battery drains a lot faster. Down 10% overnight in airplane mode with nothing running that I could see. Moreover, the numbers that 'battery' shows do not add up to 10%. Anybody else

From what I can tell, mine seems to be lower, and more consistent. Before, it may show high drain one day, then almost too low the next.

It's really hard to tell. Now I leave it in airplane/no-gps mode when I'm not actually using it. I really don't want to have to buy a new phone just because the non-removable battery died.
