Is my Nexus 5 dead?

Help needed, nexus 5 dead.

hi, My nexus 5 fell two floors. I can't see any damage except that the camera lens is broken. The screen is intact. However, my phone isn't turning on, blinking or showing any signs of life.
When I connect it through USB, it's not being detected by the PC.
I can't get a replacement as I didn't buy the phone through play store but Amazon.
Any views as to what's wrong with my phone?

If you wish to try to get it working yourself....not necessarily the best thing to do of course....take the back off and see whether the battery has lost its electrical connection. If it hasn't, it may be worth trying another battery if you can, because (and I have no technical knowledge here) it could be the battery itself that's been damaged. Of course to fit another battery on the N5 is not simple.
Get back to us if you find, as I think is likely, that it is still not working.

Make sure you hold the power button down for about a minute, some times it takes a very long time to turn on. If that doesn't do it I'd buy a new phone. If you are in the habit of dropping your phone down two floors I'd get an insurance plan on the next one.

It's almost certainly dead. The above suggestions are good ones, especially the one about getting some kind of insurance the next time.
