Is my phone toast? Wont charge, won't turn on.

Hi All,
I have a Razr Maxx, and it has been working fine until yesterday afternoon. My spouse put it in thier pocket with half charge left. Next time I went to use it, it was dead. I plugged it into the wall charger and it has no light, no indication of charge, no nothing.
I have NO idea what could have gone wrong. Any insight is appreciated; if I can fix it myself, even better.

Welcome to Android Central! How long have you left it plugged in? Let it sit overnight on the charger, and then turn it on. You might have to hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds. You could also try booting to the Recovery Menu and wiping the cache partition using the following steps:
