Is my phone water damaged?

My phone got wet on Monday morning. I put the phone in rice and completely charged it. When I turned the phone back on several things happened.

1. I got the error message the fingerprint sensor is not responding. Try again later.
2. The date and time was not correct so I updated manually.
3. The phone will not connect to my data network.
4. Camera fails.

I'm putting it back in rice but is there any troubleshooting for these issues or is my phone damaged?

This pretty seems to be the problem with software so try flashing the firmware, If the problem persists kindly take it to the customer care.

I would not try re-flashing the software. I would take it immediately to a professional for repair. Continuing to power up if water is still on the circuits....could cause electrical shock, and or permanently damage your phone.
