I'm not keeping a phone for $1,000 of it won't be used daily. I actually don't miss anything about the iPhone besides imessage. I hated face ID as the only security option (besides passcode). Also hated the notch.

I got tempted by an iPhone X for a week but took it back. Constant app freezes, camera wasn't as good as my Pixel 2 XL and I just don't care for the face recognition nor the boring antiquated iOS. Yeah it got jazzed up by removing the home button but it's still the same minus modified gestures. I really don't see anything pulling me off this phone until the P3XL.

I use an iPhone 8 for work, but the Pixel 2 is my personal device. It doesn't play along as well with my MacBook and iPad, but there are just certain things about Android that make me prefer it as my personal daily driver.
