Is simple LED notification not available with this phone?

I picked the hearts, but I have a Samsung theme installed so I don't get to see them. My whole lock screen lights up to the theme.

Thank you. I had a feeling. The led light is a feature I will miss.

This is one feature I sure missed, I'm not a fan of the current edge lighting on the Note 10/20, the first thing I could see when I pulled out my Note 9 is if I had a notification LED flashing but I suppose that's the price you have to pay for screen to body ratios etc.

Same here , I like the LED for notification and it really didn't take up space but it's gone and I haven't seen anything great to take it's place .

I didn't see the edge lighting around the camera so I will check again. I saw the flash. Looks kind of bright and extreme but might work.
That's in settings>notification>tap brief >brief pop up settings

Try the App "aodNotify" from the Play Store. It's a virtual version of the LED. You have so many setting options. I think it's even better than the real LED. I've been using them for almost a year and I'm more than satisfied.

All my recent Samsung's use different colors for notifications on AOD, which almost makes it the same as having a notification light. Gmail is pinkish red, blue for text, etc.

After reading this thread, I realized I hadn't noticed my edge lighting pop up for awhile. I must have inadvertently disabled the feature.

Apparently, I'm not overly observitive these days... My husband, however, would probably disagree.
:)

Thank you, I am going to try that. I generally keep my notifications on silent and depend on the led notification, but I had to turn up the volume a bit.

I got the aodnotify and was able to turn off all the other flashing and brief pop up. What I didn't like with the pop up was that my entire screen would light up. If I am busy with work, I don't need my screen to wake up. I ended up buying the paid version of the aodnotify, it was about $3.50 so I could really customize it. So, ArnLay67 thank you for the suggestion!

I tried aodnotify, but ultimately wasn't really happy with it.

My problem with it was that it's dependant on the brightness of the AOD screen itself, which is normally kind of dim. It was easier for me to see the icons on the AOD screen than the ring around the camera hole.

I tried it also wasnt for me , plus i dont like 3rd party apps as i dont know if they prevent screen burn in over time , Samsung calculate that .

I definitely perfer not to use third party apps. Going this route though was the only way to bring back simple notifications.
