Today I installed Slide Lock for notification management and I am seeing a decreased battery life. Anyone else has similar experiences?

Downloaded. I will try it out over the next few days, and see what happens.

I've been using the app for a few days now and don't notice any major drops in battery life. However.. One thing you can do to prevent any such issues is .. . Disable wake on notification for all the apps except the few that you absolutely need..

AC@N5

That's one reason I never install 3rd party launchers, locks, widgets, themes.......and try to stick with time tested apps.

I have noticed nothing in regard to excessive drain on my N5. Could the OP post a screenshot of the battery stats, please? Perhaps there is another reason for the drain?

From a Slim M8 and the AC Forums app.

When I went to Settings -> Battery, SlideLock had the highest percentage. I will install it again and then show you

I had the same problem. Its a great app, very helpful but my battery went from 100% to 80% when the screen was locked in 2 hours and I enabled only 6 apps to send notifications

Perhaps the suggestion yubeie made is something to go on. While I did not experience any drain, doesn't mean that it isn't there.

Is this normal? My battery definitely ran out sooner than normal days yesterday

I don't think that is is bad considering the nature of the app.

I didn't have the same experience with Dynamic Notifications which also shows notifications on the lock screen. I didn't like the way it shows them so I removed it. But in that case, it didn't use so much of my battery

when i used it i did notice battery drops more often. That didnt stop me from using it though, what stopped me was how buggy it was. Sometimes id wake my phone and it would be the stock wake screen and then cut away to the slidelock lock screen
