Is T-Mo version only on September Security update?

Hi Folks:

I'm fairly new to this device and noticed that my T-Mobile version is only in the September Security update. Is that where everyone else is too? LG just published the January update info before Google did. Seems strange that they and T-Mo would be so far behind.

Why can you not use LG Bridge? If you have it on your computer and it's not working for you, delete it and reinstall to see if that helps.

Just install and make sure your phone shows up on windows device manager. It even works on windows 10 fast lane as well. I only update via LG Bridge and make sure the phone is in file transfere mode as well.

I've tried this - it just doesn't work. It keeps failing saying it's unable to download the update. I am in file transfer mode. The device is showing in device manager.

I'm still not getting any luck with LG Bridge and my T-Mobile V20. I get an error after it starts the update. The error message says "The update cannot be downloaded". I've uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.

Same for me .my v20 still on Sept patch

Agreed! Got lollipop on my m8 like 2-3 months after the others.. I'm on T-mobile now so hopefully that changes.

Sometimes going to the BRIDGE is the best way when updates are popular when they are just released OTA......

Thanks for posting that. I tried again. I uninstalled Bridge, reinstalled it, and after a factory refresh that unfortunately I had to do on the phone Thursday when it stopped responding, this finally worked.

I updated through LG Bridge and it still download and installed the update. Hoping it has additional bug fixes. Not that I had really any bugs before

Just checked and sure enough, OTA update is available. Description indicates "Android Pay improvements, audio quality patch, Android Security updates and various other fixes."

Well, that is kind of strange. Your update size is 134.0 MB and mine is listed as 583.3 MB. I wonder what the difference is?

Sounds like a reasonable theory. Also noticed that the time in your notice was in 24 hour format while mine is in 12 hour format. Do you have your phone setup for 24 hour format? I'm assuming you have a V20 that you purchased through Tmo and you are in the U. S.?
