Is Tab Upgradable to 4G?

i tried searching, but couldn't find anything. a rep at best buy told me the verizon tag could be upgraded to 4g when it comes out. is that possible? doesn't seem like it.

It would require a hardware update, so I would venture to say no

Someone might have gotten their tablets mixed up. I believe the XOOM will be upgradeable to 4G sometime after it is released with Verizon. I think that's the plan anyway.

Maybe the rep got confused with the new verison of Verizons Galaxy tab. It will be 4g, 5mp camera and 1.2 ghz. It would be nice if you could just swap tabs, but i don't think best buy or verizon would be that nice.

See now I bought my galaxy tab from verizon on Nov. 18th, well before they were even briefed on the xoom or the newer 4G tab and the rep told me the same thing. I looked at him confused and questioned him but he stood his ground. I just think they were mis informed at some point as I HIGHLY doub our tabs will get 4G
