Is the acatel fierce 4 rootable?

hello, new here...have SOME experience with android etc however I cannot seem to root this phone at all...spent 34$ to unlock it to begin with and now every program that claims to have a root for it...virus...or I get a :cannot read 301,302 etc
anyone have success with this phone??? for now it just back to theme and launcher changes..
