I'd still argue Samsung has the best camera hardware, the main sensor should output better RAW images than the competition and they've got the best zoom. Samsung also has the best and most versatile camera app. Apple and Google have beat them in the computational department though so they tend to do better for the average person that just wants to grab a quick photo without putting in effort.

Still when photo quality counts I'd take a DSLR over any of them any day.

Why wouldn't it be? It's currently one of the best phones available. Until the 23U comes out what else would you get from Samsung camera wise? I wouldn't worry so much... just get a phone you like and enjoy it
