Is the mate 10 pro good enough.

Yeah, waiting anxiously for reviews. A few early reviews here. Hopefully the more in-depth ones start popping up.

Still puzzled with the display resolution, LCD are prone to be battery hog, so they fitted it with QHD, while the more efficeint OLED is fitted with FHD, yes you can downgrade the resolution but u can't turn off the pixels... we'll see i guess.

Perhaps they were having trouble sourcing a top notch QHD panel and didn't want to compromise like Google did on the Pixel 2 xl

Probably, but since the Mate 9 set the battery life standard very high, i hope the Mate 10 will have better battery life.

If i'm gonna get the phone, i'll go with the Pro, assuming that the USB dongle has a decent DAC, but i have my own DAC so...

Does anyone knows when AC gonna publish their own review?

Alex Dobie said on the podcast it was going to be released last week but it never came so I assume this week some time, maybe they’re just tweaking the video review.

Can't wait for AC's take on the phone. Reviews from other sites are starting to trickle in as well.

All the reviews are loving the phone. Few things are missing but overall its a great phone.

Android Authority released an article just now stating that Huawei might release Mate 10 Pro exclusively with atnt

Even though Huawei makes me angry I'll most likely eventually purchase the Mate 10 Pro if it's offered in the states unlocked.
If the Huawei hype is true I don't see a better phone based on my preferences.

Very high tech device from what I see in the preliminary news about it.
I must note that the Mate 9 I have now has suffered absolutely no slow downs at all to date.
Huawei has worked some kind of magic with the newer Mate phones evidently.
