Is the Moto G4 enough? Or should I.....

So I switched to T-Mobile a month ago from Sprint and am very happy with the service. I'm using a 32GB with 2GB ram Moto G4 I picked up for $100 on Swappa for now. I had been using a Galaxy S7 and LG G5. Before those an LG G3, Note II. So I've been used to high end carrier phones for years now.

I'm so excited about going unlocked. I really want the HTC U11 but its just out of my price range. The HTC 10 right now is on sale for $400 and is still a heck of a phone from what I've read. The problem I keep running into is, this Moto G4 is a heck of a phone for what I have into it and is doing everything I need it to. It is handling everything I did on the bloated carrier phones without much problem. I get an occasional lag here and there but 98% of the time it does what I need with ease. And the battery life is phenomenal.

So I'm having a really hard time justifying the cash for a HTC 10, heck even a Moto G5+ at this point. The only real justification I can find is the camera being better & faster. This camera isn't fast and pics can get grainy pretty quick when zooming. Maybe the audio quality with that quad dac. Obviously better build quality. Moto isn't keeping up with security updates very well either.

So the question is, is the HTC 10 enough of an upgrade over a Moto G4 that is doing everything I need to justify the cost? I just don't know.

I don't need the phone unlocked, the Moto G4 is unlocked and I'm buying unlocked. I just wanted to know if the HTC 10 is still worth buying over a Moto G4.
