To continue my point about the camera between the Moto X and the Nexus 5...
These are Moto X's photos:
HDR:

Regular mode:

Both are pretty terrible -- grainy, noisy, out of focus.
Here are the Nexus 5 photos, under same conditions:
HDR:

Regular:

Crisp, clean, clear. The HDR one, especially, shows realistic colors, too.
These are just a couple of samples. I have many more comparisons that show the same results. The Moto X camera is not "average" or "on par" as most reviews/feedback has said. I find it abysmal.
