$250 seems a good deal for the OPO. For someone like me, no gaming, no music storage, camera not important. Just email, streaming music, reading news, maps.
Based on that limited info, is the OPO still a viable option?

Of course it is. You can run the most demanding games on android without a problem on it still. I believe the oneplus one out preforms even some of today's flagships

Yes. Was thinking of getting the nexus 6P but what's the point? A tiny spec bump? Already running marshmallow on my opo without issues.

This is exactly where I am. Nexus 6P or OPO.
Problem now? The OPO is out of stock on the OnePlus website.

It's still a good phone... If you aren't planning on modifying it or loading your own ROM then it's a good device for the price right now... Personally I've had plenty of problems with it that I'm kinda sick of it I'm going to be moving on to something else shortly

I could probably keep this phone for another year, my main reason I want to upgrade is for a better camera. The camera does take decent photos but it's a bit outdated.
I've been using a custom cyanogenmod 12.1 rom and my phone's performance is still great! No lags! Unlike cyanogen os...
