I think so. I got my 1st Gen Pixel at launch, and the battery was showing it's age.

I didn't come from a first gen pixel but I would say it would be worth it. Especially since if you've had in awhile the battery must be getting old, unless you had it replaced.

Yeah I think that's a big enough upgrade. You're going to get a lot of substantial improvements.

Hand on heart - stick with the Pixel 2 XL.

While the 3 XL does have a much better screen, the Pixel 2 does pretty much everything the 3 does. I personally don't think it's worth the upgrade.

I have the 2 XL and got the 3 XL and I don't think it was much of an upgrade.

And the key word is personally. I know people who think a watch is worth $25,000. I don't. So, the value of something is the value you "personally" place on it.

I just bought panda 2XL because I like the size.. 3XL is big notch and regular 3 is too small for me and believe it or not the 2XL I got had little to none blue tint maybe it's the new unit I'm not sure but I compared to 3XL at Best buy it look almost identical so I am very happy with my decision and so lucky to get the one with good screen.

Good for you and yes I believe you...my 2xl also has a great screen. Like you I did a side by side 2xl to 3xl screen comparison on two occasions (keeping brightness and color intensity equal) and noticed almost no difference between the screens. I can only assume that the folks bashing the 2xl screen in these forums must have had 2xls with QC issues.

3XL is not an significant upgrade from the 2XL. If you love the 3XL camera features, it'll be coming to your 2XL in the future

I can only assume that the folks bashing the 2xl screen in these forums must have had 2xls with QC issues.

There are people bashing the 2XL screen outright but there are also people who had great screens but can the see difference with the 3XL. The whites are purer on the 3XL is one difference that's noticable.

I don't think it's worth it if you have the 2xl but I'm different and I like the small things they changed like better display,chip, speakers, wireless charging. those were the key difference I liked and wanted . I still have my 2xl and it's still very good device .

Maybe you don't but there is a difference and trying to compare screens in a video is not an ideal comparison.

I agree with that..
In person there is a difference in display. LG panel not as good as the Samsung .

My Pixel 2 XL never had any screen issues. I'm regretting selling it now and have cancelled my pixel 3xl until most of the issues are fixed through software. The pixel 2 XL is still really good. All pixel 2 xl should still have a year of warranty left on them, so...can get some of those QC issues still fix.

Neither did I but I'm enjoying the Pixel 3XL.

I enjoy the improvements and I'd do it again.
