Is the S5 Active truly worth it?

Im no tech guy, and im frequently active with my phone, so i bought the S5 Active. It looks cooler, feels secure in the hand, and can take a little more abuse.... but i ended up exchanging it for the standard S5 after a week. My biggest peeve about it was that the side (power) button stuck out too far and was too sensitive. Whether in my hand or in a pocket, the screen would click on and off without my intent. Furthermore, i was still too paranoid to run it without a case, and the addition of a case would've just made it way too big.

So i now happily own the regular S5 with a slim case and screen cover.

I looked at the reviews for it, but am on T-Mobile so it is a no go for me. It looked interesting.
