Is there a good music player which can handle long files?

I'm listening to 2-hour radio broadcasts offline, but Google Play Music and other popular players do not remember where I stop and they seem to be unable to fast forward over 30 minutes, so I am unable to look for the part where I finished listening. VLC does not have the fast forward issue, but it also does not remember if I return to it later.

Do you have any good recommendations for a music player which can handle these long files? Google Play Music worked for years, but recently it has stopped doing so.

The best music player I've ever used is JetAudio. I don't have any files over 30 minute but you could give it a quick try and see if it works for you
