Is there a method to make my S10+ sound a notification, when the phone reaches 100% during charging?

Android Central Question

I don't want to overcharge the phone when I go to bed, so a notification would help me.

You can use an app like GSam. But you're not going to overcharge the battery anyway, there's far too much overcharge protection in place.

Charge it when you go to sleep, unplug it when you wake up.

Both my S10 and Tab S6 provide a notification when fully charged. I am not sure what setting this is as I did not explicitly set it up to do so.

As stated by fuzzy Lumpkin I wouldn't worry about it as the phone stops charging at 100%.

One thing I would like is the ability to tell it to stop charging when the battery reaches a specified percentage.

You do NOT need an app.

Wait till your phone reaches 100% and you'll get a notification that your phone has been fully charged.

long press the notification and you'll see in there it says Popup notifications (should say silent) click that and pick a sound and you're done.

I used the Pokemon Center Healing sound whenever my phone charged to 100%

(I don't have the exact instructions on how to do it because my phone isn't at 100%, soon as i get the phone to 100% I will make the instructions more accurate)

Hahaha, I have the same sound!

OMGOSH I need to set the Pokémon Centre healing sound as my notification!!!! Thank you so much, that's genius!

ok so I now have full instructions because my phone is fully charged.

Step 1 - when the full charged notification shows up press and hold it

Step 2 - press "details"

Step 3 - Touch where it says Battery Full Silent

Step 4 - Touch where it says notification style and change it to sound

Step 5 - a new sound option will pop up and allow you to pick your sound (built in or downloaded and put into notification folder)

That's pretty much it.

Wish I could tell yous how to do this without the phone being at 100% but I don't change my sound ever so I had to wait lmao

When you have the phone on charge, you can slide the charging notification to the side and get to the settings from there.

It's worth noting that the reason i advised GSam is because this doesn't work for me. For whatever reason the fully charged notification doesn't trigger.
