Is there a valid reason why my AndroidGO device doesn't honour Push Notifications?

[Android Central Question]

Is there some valid reason as to why my A60, AndroidGO device won't honour Push Notifications despite turning these on via Settings > Apps and Notifications > Notifications > On for all Notifications.

These are third party Apps and have selected notifications to be shown in the lock screen also. Same result.

I'm sorry but this is a mobile phone, not some awkward, disobedient child. If I set to enable notification's for all Apps, I expect my phone to do just that. How either start developing software that actually works or close your business down.

It's that simple.
