is there a way to add data on and off button to quick setting

I want to be able to turn my data on and off through the use of my quick setting on my s 7 edge just like i am able to do with the wifi

If you mean the quick settings accessed by pulling down the top of the screen, expand the quick settings list by pulling them all the way down to the bottom of the screen, then select Edit in the top right corner, and then drag and drop the different toggles around to your heart's content!

Switch it to Airplane Mode ON. Voila!

If it can't be added to the pull down then your carrier disabled it. Look in the faq sticky for options.
