Is there a way to automatically clear the spaces created when apps are deleted?

I have several "pages" of apps, many have been deleted since, but there doesn't seem to be a way clear those spaces automatically, so there's no gap between app icons? Can this be done? Thanks... Android s5

Hi, welcome to the forums! Do you mean in your home screens? If so, you need to rearrange the shortcuts manually.
